Radial Shock Wave Therapy

What is RSWT?

Radial shockwaves are mechanical pressure waves that work on the body soft tissues to promote healing and pain relief through a course of treatment. It can penetrate to a depth of 35-40mm targeting damaged structures deep below the skin surface.

How it works?

The shockwaves encourage the release of many substances which trigger various pain-inhbiting and  stimulating reactions in the body. As a result, there will be a reduction in pain and expansion of blood vessels which bring about improved blood flow and tissue healing!

Commonly used for...

  • Trigger points release

  • Neck and shoulder strain

  • Lower back pain

  • Plantar fasciitis

  • Golfer's and tennis elbows

“The therapy does cause discomfort while it is being performed however the after-effects are remarkable and make it worth experiencing a bit of discomfort.  It (shock wave therapy) was the quickest, most efficient way to heal my hamstring based on all the therapies that were tried on me. I am very happy that I was able to heal quicker because of this device.”
